The Harmonie Embrassee is a boutique hotel extremely close to the train station and shops. It oozes luxury and the ‘welcome drinks’ upon arrival were a wonderful touch. The room was extremely spacious, bright and classy. The special touches to help us celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary, didn’t go unnoticed. Towels in the shape of swans forming a love heart and rose petals on the bed were an absolute surprise The mini bar was generously stocked for our complimentary consumption. The bathroom products were by Bulgari and the spa overlooking the city of Osaka was exquisite! The spectacular views from the balconies were breathtaking and the extreme kindness, generosity and respect shown to us by all the staff at the Harmonie Embrassee was humbling and greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this beautiful hotel when staying in Osaka.

this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Japan so far! I loved everything about this hotel. huge room with comfy beds, huge balcony (enjoying a drink while overlooking the city after a long day), huge bathroom (spent hours soaking in the massive tub) , courteous 24 hour staff, 7-eleven across the street, lawson's 2 blocks away, family mart about 3 blocks away, train station 6 minutes away, and don quijote 4 blocks away. there's an abundance of restaurants, izakayas, and bars in the area. don't feel like going out? enjoy the complementary alcohol in the lobby bar during certain hours. My friend and I were very happy with this hotel and would definitely recommend

close to Umeda station which suits me well for day trips to kyoto and arima onsen / kobe. large balcony with smoking which is rare in Japan. free cocktail from 3pm to 10pm very generous. room decoration is spot on for a 4 star property.

An unexpected delight! This hotel was amazing for the money. The staff were very friendly and offered us a drink on arrival. The room was lovely and well appointed with comfy beds, spectacular view (with accessible balcony), and separate bathroom. The shower was the best we'd had in Japan. There is a lounge with free drinks and snacks which we used once. Even free alcohol which we thought was amazing even though we don't drink. We would stay here again.

When I shipped my suitcases from another hotel to Harmonie, I phoned reception to find an enthusiastic male colleague who spoke fluent English, and reassured me that my 3 of my big 28 inch suitcases would be in my room by the time I got there. Communication in English is usually difficult in Japan hotels and the previous hotel I stayed at was a 5 star hotel (The Marriot) in Tenoji and even all of the staff members there couldn’t speak as fluently as this male staff at a mere 3 star hotel. He answered my questions on Booking.com immediately in detail, and when I called the hotel, he already knew I was the one who posted the question! So good to have the suitcases delivered to my massive room and to see them actually there! I was so relieved to see my luggage safe and sound. The room was large enough that I could lay flat all 4 of my large 28 inch suitcases and a carry on open with all my shopping in it. And there was still a lot of space to walk around. This was possible in the room 1405 I stayed in, not to mention this hotel is a thumbs up if you’re a smoker. The balcony was huge. You could literally have 2 big golden retrievers run around there! The hotel staff permitted me to smoke on the balcony with an ash tray on a small table with two comfy outdoor chairs to sit on. There were outdoor slippers too. For shopping’s sake in Umeda, I definitely will be back to this hotel and will extend my stay instead of staying at Hotel Hankyu Respire or Villa Fontaine Umeda in Osaka. Mainly because the beds are so comfy and the rooms are larger. They also make up your room from morning until 5pm! Perfect for people who sleep in.

This hotel was such a luxurious experience and everything just felt perfect from the moment we walked in! The rooms were HUGE, stunning, spotlessly clean, the view on the huge balcony was incredible! The beds were SO comfortable. They had so many fun things in the room that we enjoyed (robes, high quality bath products, coffee machine). They had a crib for our baby, with a personalized hand written note and baby bath products - so beyond thoughtful. Every night there was a choice of alcohol, snacks, drinks that we enjoyed so much! The staff were super helpful from the minute we checked in. The location was 10 minute walk from the train station (we took an airport shuttle directly from there!), 2-3 minute walk from restaurants, shopping area. We got SO much for the price we paid and it was such a great experience, we were so sad to leave!!!

It was very luxurious and very big room almost a suite. Had a balcony and settee as well as 2 big beds. It was in a good position reasonably close to trains and lots of shops. There were drinks available in the lobby each night which were free and well done.

A 10/15 minute walk from the nearby Osaka station (depending on the exit you take!) its a spacious, clean and friendly hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and helped us with a few things throughout the days. The room was incredibly spacious, had an in-room air purifier which was great. The hotel is near a raised highway however we didn't notice any noise at all. Our room had a balcony which was great to sit out on and enjoy the view. The design of the hotel is contemporary with modern features and the built in jacuzzi jets in the bathtub were a welcome relief from a long day of walking!

Smooth check in/out, Very friendly and helpful staffs, room was bigger than average Japanese hotels, free snacks and beverages until 22:00. 10 mins walk to Osaka train station, Yodobashi Camera, Lucua, Daimaru department store...etc., 5 Mins to biggest Uniqlo in the Kansai area (if I recall correctly), tons of restaurants and bars around.

If you want 330degree views of Osaka with balconies on both sides, then book a King Suite (Vivid White room). Having said that the bath is too small ( I’m 6’2”) and the shower over the bath is not ideal - there was enough spare room in the 3 room appartment to accommodate a separate shower. Despite these issues it is worth the stay for the views.
